Silicon Fuzz

Sharper high-gain fuzz that currently uses the same biased mid-shaped core as the other vintage-named fuzz variants.

This preview uses the same current topology as Germanium Fuzz and Big-Box Fuzz: high-pass cleanup, a biased single tanh clipping stage, broad 980 Hz shaping, and a post-fuzz high shelf. It already lives in a cutting high-gain range, but it is not yet a separately tuned silicon-specific transistor model.

How It Works

    Lower settings preserve more pick attack and clean body; higher settings push the fuzz treatment to the front.

  • output_gain_db

    Active

    Applies final post-effect level trim after DC blocking and before the output limiter.

    Matches loudness without changing the actual fuzz structure.

    Raises the input multiplier feeding the single fuzz stage.

    Increases sustain, density, and overall fuzz aggression.
